Hello! My name is Susimi, I'm the 'mun behind the blog' so to speak!
I'm a person who has a general enthusiasm toward retro hardware and software,
specifically in the arcade sphere. The limits of technology and how people
overcame them has always been a marvel to me.
This website is a gimmick one for my sona 'Interrobang' and the goings on in her wacky life.
I have a page for various media links, but I don't think it'd hurt to have a few more personal ones in this area. These are just ones I find related to my general interests.
[8-Bit Guy on Youtube] - He's a guy who talks a lot about old computers and their software/hardware. He's done a few repair and restoration vidoes, and he's partly why I leaned so heavy into the Amiga look.
[Technology Connections on Youtube] - I love watching this guy's videos. They are so informative about the workings of various pieces of technology, and they make great background noise when drawing. There are a few on record players that peaked my interest. I hope to one day get my hands on the 'Fisher DAC-145', a record player that doubles as a CD player.
[BBC sound repository] - A website that is a sound repository for a LOT of retro sound effects. These range from ambiance to machinery to specifics. These sound effects are public use, and I find myself returning to them when it comes to passion projects.
